Does numerology really work

Calculating Numerology: How To Predict Your Life Path (And Amazingly Accurately)

Calculating Numerology: How You Can Predict Your Path In Life With Amazing Accuracy

If you like to be guided by spirituality and astrology in life, then you might find numerology to be a good thing too. This is the study of the mystical relationships between numbers, letters and patterns. Like most doctrines of divination, numerology is used to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, of others, and of our relationship with the world as a whole. It can also reveal our true desires and show how we can realize them. It is an excellent tool for better understanding karma and what we carry from one relationship to the next.

The origins of numerology go back to the time between 569 and 470 BC. It was the time of the Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who dealt with the metaphysics of numbers and believed that any number could be reduced to a single digit between 1 and 9. He believed that understanding this single digit could help us understand our own spiritual and magical vibrations.

The Kabbalah, a collection of scriptures on the mystical traditions and teachings of Judaism, uses the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet to understand the numerological meaning of names. Each letter is assigned to a number. The numbers are then added up. At first this method was used by Kabbalistic philosophers with the aim of protecting the scriptures of Kabbalah from non-believers. Later, however, it was used to gain insight into our direction and purpose in life with the aid of the name.

In the Chaldean numerology of the ancient Babylonians, the focus is on the vibrations of the numbers 1 to 8. The number 9 is considered sacred; it represents a connection to the divine and stands for everything that one can only wish for in the world. In this magical method, we fathom our fate based on our date of birth and the numbers associated with the letters of our name.

Numerology was brought into the modern world by L. Dow Balliett, an influential spiritualist of the early 20th century who authored several books on the subject. Later a student of hers, Dr. Juno Jordan, helped raise awareness of the one-digit method on which today's numerology is based.

Calculating Numerology - How to Find Your Own Numerological Number and What It Means

The birth number

You can find out your birth number from your date of birth. For example, if you were born on the 5th of the month, your birth number is 5. If you were born on the 28th (a two-digit number) then add the two digits (2 + 8 = 10) to find your birth number. Birth numbers do not have to be reduced to a single digit. Use only the day, not the month or year, to find your lucky number.

The life number

Your life number refers to your predetermined life path. It reveals your true nature, what makes you unique, and your karmic debt that you have to work off. You can find your life number by adding the day, month and year of your birth date.

Assuming you were born on October 27, 1990, you would first add the digits of the day: 2 + 7 = 9. Then add the two digits of the month of October: 1 + 0 = 1. Finally, the year 1990 follows: 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19. Because this is a two-digit number, it is further reduced: 1 + 9 = 10. A final addition follows to get a one-digit number: 1 + 0 = 1.

Now all main numbers are added: 9 (day of birth) + 1 (month of birth) + 1 (year of birth) = 11. This number is reduced again by adding: 1 + 1 = 2. Your life number is 2, which means you to be seen as a manifester, as someone who builds something up.

The fate number

Your destiny number points to the part of you that is searching for fulfillment. It reveals your heart's desire and what your soul longs for in this life. To find your Destiny Number, use the same mathematical method that you used to calculate your Life Number. Here, however, you take your first and last name as a basis and assign a number to each letter. Each letter corresponds to a number.

Use the number 1 for the letters A, J, S.

Use the number 2 for the letters B, K, T.

Use the number 3 for the letters C, L, U,

Use the number 4 for the letters D, M, V.

Use the number 5 for the letters E, N, W.

Use the number 6 for the letters F, O, X,

Use the number 7 for the letters G, P, Y.

Use the number 8 for the letters H, Q, Z.

Use the number 9 for the letters I, R.
